
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed Nema Allah, President of Cairo New Technological University, Prof. Dr. Tarek Abdel Malak Michael, Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Abdo Abdel Fattah, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology and Energy, the first visit to the New and Renewable Energy Authority at the Zafarana Wind Farm was organized for students of the New and Renewable Energy program as part of the weekly student training on Wednesday, November 27, 2019.
The visit began with Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed Nema Allah receiving the students at the university gathering point, after which they moved to the Zafarana area. The tour at the station started with an explanatory presentation by Engineer Ahmed Azmy in the station’s presentation hall. Then, the students accompanied him to the control room, where he provided detailed explanations on how to operate the equipment and its benefits, explaining each part of the devices individually and answering all student questions.
The visit concluded with the students going to the actual work site of the station to learn how to operate the equipment practically on the ground. At the end of the day, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed Nema Allah was waiting for the students to ensure their safe return and to assess the benefits of the visit, promising to repeat such visits regularly to enhance the scientific and practical level of the university students.
