
Signing a joint cooperation protocol between Cairo New Technological University and the New and Renewable Energy Authority.
Within the framework of achieving the desired objectives of establishing Cairo New Technological University through serving the community, communicating with its various institutions, preparing technological graduates with a high level of efficiency, performance, knowledge, and behavior, as well as supporting practical training, on Wednesday الموافق 18/12/2019, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed Neama Allah, President of Cairo New Technological University, a cooperation protocol was signed between Cairo New Technological University and the New and Renewable Energy Authority, represented by Dr. Eng. Mohamed Mostafa El-Khayat, Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Tarek Abdel Malek Mikhail, Prof. Dr. Abdo Abdel Fattah Abdel Samad, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial and Energy Technology, Dr. Eng. Abu Bakr Abdel Hamid, Consultant (A), Eng. Khaled Mohamed Fekry, Consultant (B), and Eng. Ezza Mohamed Tawfik, General Director of Training and Promotion at the Authority.
The protocol included cooperation in various training fields for university students in the areas of renewable energy, aiming to provide them with knowledge and experience in the manufacturing, development, installation, and operation of electricity generation stations from renewable energy sources, in addition to energy resource assessment and energy efficiency, which qualifies them to join the Egyptian and international labor markets. The protocol also included allowing university students to visit the Authority’s various sites, learn about its activities in the fields of new and renewable energy, visit the Authority’s laboratories and benefit from the available capabilities, provide summer training opportunities for students, and prepare training courses, conferences, and workshops in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
