Dr. El Sheikh explained that this initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to preparing a generation of graduates capable of competing in the job market. It aims to bridge the gap between university education outputs and labor market needs, develop students’ job skills, conduct workshops and counseling sessions, and provide employment and training opportunities for students and graduates.
The President of New Cairo Technological University emphasized that, through collaboration with the American University in Cairo, the university seeks to achieve financial and institutional sustainability in its professional development centers, aiming to prepare trained and qualified administrative and technical staff at the highest level. He appreciated the support provided by USAID in linking academic program outputs with labor market requirements, emphasizing that supporting entrepreneurship and small startups for students and graduates is a key focus of the university’s vision and mission. This strategy is based on building self-skills and investing in knowledge to achieve institutional excellence in international rankings, enhance graduates’ competitive capabilities, and support the quality of life for society while maintaining the university’s leading position.
