Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Mahmoud El-Sheikh, the President of New Cairo University, a group of students from the university participated in the Ramadan tournament organized by the Egyptian University Sports Union. The tournament was held after the draw and selection of New Cairo Technological University in Group 4 to compete with Cairo University, Higher Education, and the International German University.
