The celebration began with a Quranic recitation by student Osama Ali, followed by a speech from the Acting President of New Cairo Technological University, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed Naema Allah, highlighting the October Victory and the importance of technological universities in advancing technical and technological education in Egypt.
Next, the biography of Major General Mohamed Sherif Moslem was presented, after which he addressed the attendees, sharing his memories of the October War as one of its brave heroes. He discussed the battles he participated in, the social impact of the war on Egyptian society, and the significance of New Cairo Technological University, noting that the October Victory was the most important triumph of his time.
He further emphasized that the current technological universities in Egypt represent a new victory for the country and its people, marking a strong and important step toward the advancement of technical education in Egypt.
Following this, Prof. Dr. Tarek Abdel Malak, Vice President of the University, delivered a speech to the attendees.
At the conclusion of the event, the University President honored Major General Moslem by presenting him with a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative shield from the university.
